  • Stewart County Board of Commission Called Meeting<\/font> \nThe Stewart County Commission will meet for a called meeting on October 6 at 4:30 pm at the Stewart County Courthouse in the Courtroom. The purpose of this meeting is to propose the rollback rate for the 2026 tax season. \nThe Stewart County Commission will also meet for a Work Session immediately following the Called Meeting at 4:30 pm.   • Important Property Tax Statement Notification<\/font> \nThe Stewart County Tax Office recently underwent a software change due to the previous company going out of business. Amid changes, there were some down falls resulting in approximately 75 property owners receiving erroneous 2025 Property Tax Statements. Our software company\u2019s development team will have all corrections completed this week and those customers will be receiving a corrected tax bill. \nYou can call the Tax Commissioner\u2019s Office for additional information at 229-838-4267.\n
