  • Stewart County Commission is Accepting Roofing Bids The Stewart County Commission is accepting bids on the replacement of the Stewart County Commission’s Senior Citizens’ Center. The building is located at 2141 Broad Street in Lumpkin, Georgia. We seek to have a metal roof installed. We will accept bids in either or both of the following ways: 1. As a full job of the contractor supplying the materials and labor for removal and legal disposal of old asphalt shingles and installation of new roof; and/or, 2. As the contractor supplying labor only. Deliver sealed bids to the Commission Office (1764 Broad Street, Lumpkin, Georgia 31815) no later than 3pm on October 14. The Commission will open and award bids at its October 14 Commission meeting, which will commence at 4:30 pm.
